Origin and characteristics of the ylang-ylang plant

Ylang-ylang is an evergreen tree that reaches a height of 40 meters, with a trunk up to 75 centimeters in diameter. The inflorescences of the tree are a brush with flowers located on a peduncle, the length of the flower is up to 7.5 centimeters. The flowers are yellow-green with six petals and a purple spot on the inside. Ylang-ylang blooms almost all year round.
